Last updated: October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Amerigo HR Consulting LLC (“Amerigo”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit amerigohrconsulting.com, contact us, or are considered for a role through our executive search and recruiting services.
1. Who we are
Amerigo HR Consulting LLC
100 Aqua Way, Newport, KY 41071, United States
Email: info@amerigohr.com
For candidates, we generally act as the party that decides how your information is used in our search and selection activities. When we work on a search, the client company that receives your profile is responsible for its own use of that information.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us or send an application, we collect what you provide: for example your name, company, email address, phone number, message, CV or resume, work history, education, qualifications, salary expectations and availability.
Information from professional sources. When we search for candidates, we may collect professional information that is publicly available or shared for professional purposes, such as LinkedIn profiles, company websites and industry publications, and information from referees you indicate.
Assessment information. If you take part in a DISC behavioral assessment, we receive your results. We use them only for the purpose explained to you before the assessment.
Website information. Our website host collects basic technical data, such as browser type, device, approximate location and pages visited, to run the site securely and to produce aggregate visit statistics.
Analytics cookies. With your consent, we use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to understand how visitors use our site, for example which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. Google Analytics sets cookies only if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses. To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
We do not ask for sensitive information (for example health, religion or ethnic origin) and we ask you not to include it in your CV or messages.
3. How we use your information
- To answer your requests and arrange calls with you.
- To provide our services to client companies: market mapping, executive search, recruiting and HR consulting.
- To evaluate candidates for open roles and to contact you about opportunities that match your profile.
- To manage our relationship with clients and candidates, including invoicing and records.
- To keep our website secure and understand how it is used.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in running a recruiting and HR consulting business, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. When we share your information
- With client companies, when you are being considered for one of their roles. We discuss the role with you before we present your profile.
- With service providers that help us operate, such as website hosting, email, scheduling, our online application form and FormSubmit, which delivers the messages you send through our contact form to our inbox. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or other people.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States and many of our clients are Italian and European companies. Your information may therefore be processed in the United States and in the European Union. When we transfer personal information of people in the EU, EEA or UK, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. We keep candidate profiles so that we can consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete them. Client and business records are kept for the period required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw your consent. To make a request, write to info@amerigohr.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
